Opportunities & Risks of Stablecoins for Community Banks

Ali Nejadmalayeri, Professor of Finance at the University of Wyoming College of Business in Laramie, will deliver this pre-session webinar to the student body on June 4, 2026. It will serve as a pre-curser for the July 28, 2026, faculty panel.

Economic Update

To establish an economic foundation for the summer session, GSBC is pleased to provide an economic update on June 11, 2026, from Esther George, former president & CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion by GSBC faculty member Perry Haralson along with students Shelbie Fitch and Phil Nash.

This discussion should be viewed as a starting point for discussion and debate. We encourage you to find areas of agreement and areas of disagreement. We believe this provides such a strong foundation for your two weeks at GSBC; we are requiring this as pre-session work for students and faculty.
