The biennial Community Bankers Summit offers senior managers of community banks three days of learning and networking on the beautiful University of Colorado Boulder campus during the Annual School Session. Plan on attending the next program in July 2020!
Every other year, GSBC’s president and Alumni Advisory Board curate a curriculum designed to foster discussion among Annual School Session faculty, industry experts and community bankers regarding strategies and best practices for community banks to thrive.
This year’s summit will feature:
- A 70th anniversary celebration/alumni reunion
- Discussion on what makes community banks imperative to rural America’s success
- Breakout sessions (new!)
- Discussion regarding community bank mergers and acqusitions

The 2020 Community Bankers Summit is scheduled for July 27-29 during the 70th Annual School Session. Arrive Saturday, July 26 so you can join us on Sunday for the GSBC Alumni Association Golf Tournament and the Alumni Reunion/70th Anniversary Celebration.

This is an intermediate/advanced level seminar that is best suited for the following individuals: GSBC alumni, CEOs, presidents, CFOs, chief risk officers, marketing officers, bank regulators, directors and members of senior management at community banks.

Welcome to Campus!
This program is hosted in conference space at Village Center on the University of Colorado Boulder campus. The conference space provides a functional, spacious learning environment that is ideal for fostering discussion in groups both large and small.
This year, GSBC is offering summit attendees the option to stay on campus! Included in your registration fee, the cost is $110/night. Williams Village East is a state-of-the-art, comfortable, on-campus housing facility that’s walking distance to the Summit.
Attendees may also choose to stay at a local hotel (no conference rate available).
Speakers are a combination of Annual School Session faculty, community bankers, academics and consultants who will deliver real-life examples, best practices, case studies and unique models of technical instruction in a lively, discussion-based group setting. Speakers for the 2020 program are TBA.
