In today’s fast paced business environment the ability to analyze large amounts of data quickly is crucial. This is especially true in banking where large volumes of information can provide valuable insights for decision making. Data analysis helps bankers identify trends improve efficiency and support strategic initiatives within their institutions.

This course introduces practical data analytics skills using Microsoft Excel. Students will begin with foundational concepts and progress to more advanced techniques including pivot tables Power Query and Power Pivot. Through real banking examples such as loan data general ledger activity and expense analysis students will learn how to organize analyze and automate data to support better decisions.

By the end of the course students will have practical tools they can immediately apply to strengthen analysis reporting and leadership within their banks.

*Students must have access to Microsoft Excel and preferably a PC laptop. The course focuses on analyzing data using Excel functions including pivot tables Power Query and Power Pivot. Advanced Excel experience is not required as the course begins with the basics and builds throughout the week.
