If there’s one thing GSBC cares about, it’s community bankers. We realize that these are unprecedented times, and while we may not have all of the answers to solving this crisis, what we do have is access to the industry’s leading experts who can help you implement strategies to effectively manage your bank during this trying time.

WHY GSBC

Focus on Community Banking

We recognize the importance of community banks and the role they play in their communities and local economies, and are committed to providing the training and skills necessary for them to thrive amidst challenges in the economic and regulatory environment long term. And like community banks, relationships are a priority at GSBC. Our students interact closely with our expert faculty in classroom sizes conducive to peer-learning and interaction. Class discussions, case examples and projects are targeted at issues faced by senior managers of community banks, all to provide the technical training and leadership skills needed by the next generation of community bank managers.

What People Are Saying

The peer group program was an outstanding success in my experience at GSBC. Through my three summers I have made some great networking contacts that I have already used, but the peer group connections turned out to be not just great colleagues but wonderful friends. The GSBC experience is all about learning and pushing you in directions you never thought you would go.

Neil Rutter

ANNUAL SCHOOL SESSION

The education that is available at GSBC’s Executive Development Institute is second to none. EDI gave me an immense understanding of community banking while simultaneously cultivating innovative ideas that provided real results to my organization. One of the most valuable things of EDI was the opportunity to create close friendships and professional connections with my classmates.
