GSBC has unveiled its newest program focused on delivering enhanced financial management strategies to community banks, the Community Bank Performance Institute (CBPI), scheduled for May 19-22, 2025, at the University of Colorado Boulder Leeds School of Business.
The Graduate School of Banking at Colorado’s (GSBC) 73rd Annual School Session blended core banking essentials with peer-focused initiatives to cultivate and inspire bold leaders for community banks.
GSBC welcomed two new members to its Alumni Advisory Board at its meeting on July 21, 2024. The new members include GSBC Alumni Joshua Juergensen ‘14 (representing Minnesota) and Adam Rainey ’15 (representing Missouri).
Anita Drentlaw, president, chief executive officer, and chief financial officer of New Market Bank in Elko New Market, Minn., has been elected chair of the GSBC Alumni Association.
GSBC elected three new community bankers to its board of trustees at its meeting during the school’s 73rd Annual School Session in Boulder, Colo. The new members include Susie Koranda (representing Nebraska), Chip Reeves (representing Iowa) and Niki Stotler (representing Colorado).
Lance White, president and chief executive officer of Bank of the Flint Hills in Wamego, Kan., has been named chair elect of GSBC for 2024-2025.
Sheila Noll, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Pacific Coast Bankers Bank, has been named chair elect of GSBC for 2024-2025.

Scarboro Award…Slade’s work in the banking industry began in 2001 upon joining the GSBC faculty, where he served as a key contributor to its leadership curriculum and the development of its state-of-the-art Executive Development Institute for Community Bankers®
