Kathy Schwerdtfager is currently Senior Vice President of The Bank of Tescott where she is primarily an Ag/Commercial Loan Officer. She serves on the bank’s Executive, ALCO and Human Resource Committees. Kathy has been in banking for over 19 years and has been at The Bank of Tescott the past six years. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from McPherson College in Finance and in the spring of 2016 she plans to complete her Master’s Degree in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University, along with a certificate in Financial Therapy. A 2011 graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado, she currently serves on the GSBC Alumni Advisory Board and is the President of the Young Bank Officers of Kansas (YBOK), as well as on the KBA Board of Directors.

She and her husband Travis own Schwerdtfager Masonry, LLC and Kathy stays busy doing the accounting and bookwork for the business in her free time. Her son Zach is a recent graduate of Kansas State University. Kathy and her husband enjoy playing golf when they get the opportunity and cheering on the K-State wildcats throughout the year.
