Roger Guerin is senior vice president, comptroller and CFO for Sanford Institution for Savings, a $600 million community bank in Sanford, Maine. Responsible for over 32 years for finance, accounting, investments, asset/liability management, budgeting, cash management, funding, audits, tax management, employee benefits and regulatory reporting. Chairman of the bank’s ALCO committee and a member of the bank’s Senior management committee. Principal liaison for external audits.  Formerly was Principal Bank Examiner for 11 years for the State of Maine Bureau of Financial Institutions.  Trustee of the New England School of Financial Studies, Babson College.  Graduated from the University of Maine with a B.S. in Finance and Accounting. Honors graduate from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado in 1987. Geurin has been a Bank Management Simulation faculty member for the last 33 years and the 2017 recipient of the James C. Scarboro Memorial Award.
