Rob Husong starting his banking career in the Oklahoma City metro, working as a lender for two Fortune 100 banks. He then moved back to Northwest Arkansas in 1998 to work for a community bank that was part of the Arvest Bank Group. He continued his career there managing a lending team until 2004 when he left to help start up a de novo bank. Rob worked in various executive management capacities within the new bank until 2013 when he was recruited to his current leadership role at the First National Bank of NWA.

Husong is a graduate of the University of Arkansas Sam Walton College of Business with a B.S. in Marketing Management and emphasis in organizational management. He is currently the president of First National Bank of NWA, a division of First National Bank of Fort Smith.

He has a strong commitment to helping children in need within his community. He is a board member and treasurer of the Sunshine School and Development Center of Benton County and he also supports the Benton County Child Advocacy Center where he has developed a fundraiser that has raised over $125,000 in the last five years.

Rob is also a board member of the Arkansas Bankers Association having joined the board in 2020. He lives in Bentonville, Arkansas, with his wife, Carrie, and four sons.
