Gail Mikolich is the Chief Operating Officer of Northeast Bank in Minneapolis, MN, a community bank with $435 million in assets. She has overall responsibility for the operations, IT, security, fixed assets, risk management, cash management, marketing and retail banking departments. She has been with Northeast Bank since 1986.

Gail served as a member of the Minnesota Bankers Association’s (MBA) board of directors from 2008 to 2014. From 2015-2018, Gail has been part of the MBA’s executive committee, serving as vice chair, chair and immediate past chair, respectively. Gail has recently joined the American Bankers Association’s (ABA) Community Bankers Council.

In March of 2006, Gail was named an Emerging Leader by Twin Cities Business Magazine and MDA Leadership Consulting, and in July of 2006, was named a Rising Star in Banking by Northwestern Financial Review. In 2007, Finance and Commerce recognized her as a Top Woman in Finance and in 2011 honored her in their Circle of Excellence. In 2009, the Twin Cities Business Journal recognized Gail as a Woman to Watch.

Gail has a BA in Organizational Leadership from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN. She graduated with honors from the Graduate School of Banking in Colorado in 2009.
