Andy Anderson has more than 38 years of banking experience, all with Bank of Anguilla. Outside the bank, Andy is serving his second consecutive term as chairman of the Mississippi Bankers Association (MBA) and has served on the MBA Board of Directors and Educational Foundation Board, as well as its Executive and PAC committees. He has also served on and chaired the MBA Legislative and Compliance/Audit committees.

Andy is also currently serving a three year term on the American Bankers Association (ABA) Board of Directors, is on the ABA Community Bankers Council and has previous service on the ABA Government Relations and Professional Development councils. Additionally, he serves the ABA as chairman of the its Membership Council. On a national level, he is also serving another term as chairman of the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) Banker’s Advisory Board. Lastly, he is on the board of the Community Development Bankers Association in Washington D.C.

Locally, Andy serves on the Rolling Fork Visitor Center and Museum Board and is a member of the local Rotary Club. He coached youth baseball for 23 years, high school baseball and softball for 13 and announced both high school and junior high football and basketball games for 23 years. Andy is a member of First Baptist Church RF, serving as a deacon. At the church, he has served as Youth Committee Chairman, Budget Committee Chairman and been involved in numerous other church committees.

He has Bachelors and Masters degrees in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at LSU.

He and his wife, Tracye, have two children.
