GSBC is pleased to welcome Dan Robb, president and CEO of Jonesburg State Bank, to its board of trustees.

“We are honored to have Dan join the board of trustees,” said GSBC President Michael Stevens. “He graduated from GSBC more than 20 years ago but can still speak very specifically and personally of what the GSBC experience has done for him. Dan’s community banking roots coupled with his national leadership experience with the MBA and ABA will bring tremendous benefits to GSBC as we strive to meet the needs of the industry for a long time to come.”

Robb has more than 35 years of banking experience, having started his career in 1985 as a bank teller. Established in 1921, Jonesburg State Bank is a community bank in East Central Missouri, with locations in Jonesburg, Montgomery City and Warrenton. Robb has been at the helm of the institution since 2003.

Robb remains involved in the Missouri banking community having served the Missouri Bankers Association (MBA) in various capacities, which includes eight years on the MBA Board of Directors. He was the MBA Chairman in 2015.

On a national level, Robb has served on the American Bankers Association’s (ABA) Community Bankers Council and Grass Roots Committee. He chaired the ABA’s Government Relations Council in 2020 and served as the ABA Chairman for 2022-2023 term.

Dan graduated from GSBC in 2000 and continues to support the school by entrusting GSBC with his team’s education and development.

Active in his local community, Robb serves on various business and non-profit boards. He is also involved in multiple civic activity groups.

The GSBC Board of Trustees is the governing body of the school and is comprised of community bankers, regulators and advisors representing the school’s nine strongest supporting states.
