The Graduate School of Banking at Colorado (GSBC) has elected two bankers to its board of trustees, effective July 26, 2019.

Barry Anderson, president and chief operations officer of F&M Bank in Edmond, OK, has been elected to the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado (GSBC) Board of Trustees.

Anderson began his banking career as a teller for American Heritage Bank in El Rino, OK, before heading to pursue a degree at Oklahoma State University. Additional educational programs Anderson has completed include the Oklahoma Bankers Association (OBA) Basic, Operations and Intermediate Schools of Banking, the Oklahoma City University Graduate School of Community Banking and the University of South Carolina Graduate School of Bank Investments & Financial Management. Finally, Anderson graduated from GSBC in 2007.

Anderson is active in his state bankers associations; he serves on the board of the Community Bankers Association of Oklahoma (CBAO) and has previously served on several CBAO and OBA committees. On the local level, Anderson is a current member and former chairman of the board of trustees for First Christian Church of Guthrie as well as a board member of the Logan County Economic Development Council.

Barry and his wife Wendy share two children, Katie and Bryce. Anderson succeeds Troy Appling, executive vice president of The Bankers Bank in Oklahoma City, OK, as an Oklahoma representative on the GSBC Board of Trustees.

 

Sheila Noll, executive vice president and chief operations officer of Midwest Independent Bank in Columbia, MO, has been elected to the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado (GSBC) Board of Trustees.

As a member of the Midwest Independent Bank (MIB) Executive Management Committee, she provides organizational leadership, direction and guidance related to community bank servicing across the Midwest. She began employment with MIB in September 1995 as a cash management specialist. In August 1997 she transitioned to the loan department as a credit analyst and, in June 1998, took on the role of operations manager.

Noll graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1995 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in finance from Central Missouri State University (now University of Central Missouri). She attended the Missouri Bankers Association (MBA) School of Bank Management where she received the GSBC Scholarship and graduated with honors as the class valedictorian. She is a 2005 graduate of GSBC. Noll is married to Charlie and they have two daughters, Katie and Allison.

Noll previously chaired the GSBC Alumni Association. She succeeds Paul Thompson, chairman and CEO of Country Club Bank in Kansas City, MO, as a Missouri representative on the GSBC Board of Trustees.
