I am pleased to announce the promotions of Amy Blom to Chief Operating Officer and Josie Bunch to Vice President of Strategy & Experience at the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado (GSBC). These promotions reflect their significant contributions and expanded responsibilities since I was appointed president in 2021.

Amy Blom, Chief Operating Officer

Amy Blom has served as the Director of Administration since joining GSBC in 2006 and has been the backbone and steady hand behind GSBC’s operations. Anyone who has been at our summer session knows you do not have to be there long before you hear “I don’t know, ask Amy.” In her expanded role, she will lead our upgraded technology platform and enhanced financial management.  She will also use her experience and historical knowledge of GSBC to contribute to the development of our staff.

Josie Bunch, Vice President of Strategy & Experience

Josie Bunch has been the Director of Marketing since 2012 and brings creativity and a keen knowledge of the industry to her role. Josie’s understanding of community banking and dedication to the mission of GSBC ensures prospective students understand the value proposition of GSBC from the first conversation, through enrollment, to an engaged alumni. This expanded role emphasizes GSBC’s focus on the student experience as central to our mission of creating leaders for community banks. Josie’s strategy role will expand beyond marketing to focus on how the school is positioned relative to the market and needs of the industry.

I am grateful for the time and energy Amy and Josie have dedicated to supporting my movement into my role as president. They do this because they believe in GSBC and their commitment to the students. We have built a strong partnership in leading the vital work of GSBC, and I look forward to working with them in their expanded leadership roles.

Please join me in thanking them for their service and commitment and congratulating them on these well-deserved honors.

Michael L. Stevens, GSBC President
