The Graduate School of Banking at Colorado (GSBC) awarded diplomas to the 176-member class of 2017 at its annual graduation celebration July 27, at University of Colorado’s Folsom Field in Boulder, Colo.
GSBC also awarded 20 students in the top 10% of the graduating class with honors recognition. Honors graduates include: Katherine Burrows-Noring, Nathan Dellinger, Justin Dunn, Kirby Evanger, Andrew Graham, Todd Jourdan, Carl Koupal, David Ling, Paul Lutsky, Jadd Mann, Zach Neuman, Mickie Nuss, Jessica Porter, Courtney Quidley, Michael Scholl, William Thompson, Alan Ward, Aaron Webb, Darrel Wiley, and Douglas Zinke.
“GSBC is honored to call this group alumni. Over the last three years they have grown in their personal and professional careers,” said GSBC President Tim Koch.
Graduates receive a diploma upon successfully completing six weeks of classroom training which focuses on the areas of general management, lending, leadership and human-resource management and financial management. Requirements for graduation also include comprehensive examinations, intersession research projects and participation in a bank-management simulation course designed to provide the student with experience managing a bank.
