Michelle N. Hodge serves as Director of SBA at Huntington National Bank (HNB), where she leads the bank’s SBA sales and support organization, one of the largest SBA lending businesses in the United States.
Michelle has built her career across regulatory, community, regional, and super-regional banking organizations, providing her with a unique perspective on risk management, regulatory compliance, strategic growth, and relationship management. She has successfully navigated leadership roles across increasingly complex organizations, including two transformative mergers that expanded her leadership responsibilities and market impact across Texas and beyond.
Prior to joining Huntington, Michelle served as Deputy Regional President for Texas at Cadence Bank, a regional banking organization with approximately $50 billion in assets. She previously held the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer for Industry Bancshares, Inc. in Industry, Texas, overseeing enterprise risk management and regulatory strategy for the community banking organization and its affiliated banks.
Before her banking leadership roles, Michelle spent 13 years with the Texas Department of Banking, where she held positions of increasing responsibility in bank supervision and regulation.
Michelle graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado in 2017 and currently serves as a faculty member. She is also a member of the Texas Tech School of Banking Advisory Board. Michelle earned her degree from Texas Tech University in 2007.
