Greg Hudson’s journey as a self-described “bank nerd” began in college with a class called Financial Institutions and Markets. His first real job was as a bank examiner, where he saw firsthand the vital role community banks play. He then spent a decade with the Federal Reserve, serving as an attorney and bank supervisor. His experience includes several years as in-house counsel at a regional bank. Currently, he manages regulatory relations for a large bank.

He is currently Vice Chair of the ABA Banking Law Committee, a member of the Southwest Association of Bank Counsel, and an adjunct professor at Southern Methodist University. His thoughts on the intersection of banking and the law have been published in the Banking Law Journal, Securities Regulation Law Journal, and Business Law Today.

Greg received his B.S. from Louisiana State University, J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law, and LL.M. from S.M.U. Dedman School of Law. He is also a proud alumnus of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.
