Peg Scott is currently CEO/CFO and chairman of the board for Union State Bank, Greenfield, Iowa. Peg started working at Union State Bank in December 1979 as a teller, became assistant cashier in 1982 and advanced to operations officer in 1998.  In 1999 she enrolled at Simpson College, Indianola, IA, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2005 with a BA in accounting.  In January 2005 she was promoted to vice president and recognized as an executive officer in January 2006.  In 2007 when the majority family ownership interest began the process of selling Union State Bank, Peg and her husband, Jim, decided to form a holding company, Greenfield Bancorporation, Ltd., to bid on Union State Bank.  After the group was able to purchase the bank, Peg became CEO/CFO and chairman of the board.

Peg attended the Iowa School of Banking in 2004 and 2005, earning a scholarship to the GSBC, where she graduated from in 2008. Peg and her husband, Jim, have been lifelong residents of Adair County where they have owned and operated a farming operation since 1976.
