The Community Bank Investments School is a four-and-a-half day school that will equip financial managers of community banks with strategies to effectively and independently manage an investment portfolio.
A re-designed extension of the Graduate School of Bank Investments & Financial Management (GBIFM) formerly offered at the University of South Carolina, the Community Bank Investments School is now affiliated with GSBC and hosted at the University of Colorado Denver Business School. It is not affiliated with any single brokerage firm or bank investment/trading strategy.
"I had the opportunity to attend the Graduate School of Bank Investments and Financial Management when it was hosted at the University of South Carolina. The program was instrumental in the transition from our then bond portfolio manager to myself....I was able to come back to my bank and implement the strategies taught at the school, resulting in improved overall profitability of our bond portfolio....I am now looking forward to sending one or more of my employees to the Community Bank Investments School to receive the same quality education I received in years past."
