Neil is a principal-in-charge of LarsonAllen’s Minneapolis Financial Institutions Group. Neil has 25 years of experience in the banking industry, which includes nine years of experience in the private sector. His private sector experiences range from cashier to chief operations officer, however, his strengths are in both the operations and lending areas of community banks.
Neil’s primary responsibility at LarsonAllen is to consult on the business, accounting and regulatory issues affecting financial institutions. He has extensive experience with merger and acquisition transactions, capital formation, and reorganizations and restructurings. Neil has been instrumental in working with community banks in responding to regulatory actions, in addition to consulting on capital and liquidity plans and the adequacy of their loan loss reserves during the current banking crisis.
Neil lectures, instructs, and publishes articles relevant to the financial institutions industry and is a highly-regarded speaker for the Independent Community Bankers Association of America.
