CURRICULUM TRACKS

GSBC offers Career Tracks to assist in your curriculum choices. These tracks, Lending, Financial Management, Leadership & Human Resource Management, and General Management, consist of required core and numerous elective classes.  Electives build off the material covered in earlier core classes to enhance retention and skill development.  The GSBC program is built around core courses which are based in the fundamental concepts of community banking.  The tracks are only examples of coursework students may choose to complete.  Each student must complete required core coursework and is free to chose any elective course offered, regardless of which track they may choose to focus on.

The learning objectives of GSBC are to master the concepts of Lending, Financial Management, General Management, and Leadership and HR.  Each of the core courses within these groups has specific objectives, which are defined in the course curriculum.  Each student will be tested on these learning objectives at the end of each week during the school session.  Students must receive an overall average of 70% on their exams to progress to the next year of the program.
