RECREATION FACILITIES

In addition to the abundant outdoor recreation Boulder has to offer, students may access the Bear Creek Recreation Center and/or University Recreation Center for a minimal fee while on campus.

The Bear Creek Recreation Center is located adjacent to the Bear Creek Apartments as a convenient option to maintain your fitness routine while in Boulder. It has a 3,300 square-foot weight room complete with Cybex equipment, Olympic-style weight benches, and nine PreCor Elliptical trainers. The second floor holds an aerobics studio for use during the classes that are offered. Additionally, the Bear Creek outdoor volleyball, tennis and basketball courts are accessible during your stay.

The Main Campus Student Recreation Center includes a collegiate ice hockey rink, an aerobics studio, handball/racquetball/squash courts, tennis courts, three indoor basketball cours, a swimming pool with a diving well, a sunbathing patio, two multi-use general gymnasiums, an indoor running track, dry-heat saunas, a coed weightlifging room, a fitness systems room with Cybex fitness equipment, a cardiovascular room overlooking the pool and a climbing wall. First aid, court reservations, and locker and equipment rentals are also available. A variety of sports equipment may be checked out free of charge.
